Yunnan Project Hope for the Minorities- Character Story
和耀梅：云南省丽江市玉龙纳西族自治县人，自2007年9月进入高中开始，受云南少数民族希望工程资助完成高中三年的学业，之后继续得到希望工程的热心帮助，进入云南省普洱市普洱学院学习师范专业，于2012年7月份毕业后来到北京，在北京旭天投资管理有限公司工作，目前的职位是项目工程助理。
Ms. Yaomei He who is the resident of Naxi Autonomous County in Yulong of Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, she started her high school in Sep 2007, Under the donate help from Yunnan Project Hope for the Minorities, she could finish her high school education, then she go to study in the Normal school in Puer city of Yunnan, after graduate from the college on Jul 2012, she go to Beijing and work in Beijing Tecpark Development Limited company as an engineering assistant.

心路历程
Mind History
出生于贫寒家庭中的我从小就有个梦想，那就是通过读书来改变命运，通过知识改变家庭贫困的面貌，因为对于千千万万个像我一样出身于云南高寒山区的孩子来说，唯有读书才有机会走出大山。我的求学之路上相比于其他同村的孩子算是幸运的，因为在考上高中的第二年，当家里的父母无法再继续给我提供学习费用面临辍学的时候遇到了云南少数民族希望工程的爱心人士，他们给予了我无私的帮助，之后的求学之路才得以顺利完成，这一路上，是希望工程在我最困难，最需要帮助的时候向我伸出了博爱之手，这份爱我将铭记于心。
随着云南少数民族希望工程爱心人士的不断加入，如今在我的家乡丽江已经有超过30所希望工程学校，家乡孩子们的学习环境有了翻天覆地的变化，坐上了宽敞明亮的教室，用上了整洁的食堂和宿舍等。这一切都要归功于云南少数民族希望工程的无私奉献，给大山里越来越多的孩子 送去了温暖和希望，相信孩子们会在爱的力量下勤奋学习、越来越多的孩子日后能走出大山，走向外面的世界。
I born in a poor family, when I was a child I have a dream which I want to go to school. Only the education can change my fate and change the hometown’s life style. There are countless children like me whom born in the Alpine region, and only the education can change our fates. I am very lucky, it is Yunnnan Project Hope for the Minorities offer me much help when I facing drop out from the high school. I will never forget those goodhearted do me a favor when I need help.
With more goodhearted join in the Yunnan Project Hope for the Minorities, there are more than 30 schools build in my hometown. The education facilities are changed a lot, the students can study in a bright classroom, they can use the neat canteens and dorms. All of this are thanks to the Yunnan Project Hope for the Minorities who are bring warmth to the mountains children, and the children hard study to reward the goodhearted and the society.
