2015年8月22日， “云南少数民族希望工程”慈善竞拍在北京通州宋庄力波村画廊举办。严格管制的交通，单双出行的不便，遥远的距离，炎炎的烈日，慈善人士和艺术家们克服了重重困难，聚首力波村画廊，慷慨献爱。

此次慈善竞拍，先后共有82位艺术家倾力相助，精心创作了82件爱心之作，更有近100位各界慈善人士现场出席，慷慨解囊，鼎力相助。

活动当天，“云南少数民族希望工程”名誉主席杨文庆先生专程从洛杉矶赶到北京出席活动，并带来了来自大洋彼岸的艺术作品。美国知名艺术家唐慧倩女士得知此次活动，特地委托杨先生带来她的作品，为希望工程献上她的爱心，唐女士现在南加州拉古挪海滩开设画廊，此活动在献爱的同时，还增加了中美两地的艺术文化交流。
